A page of work notes relating to the "Capsule Hotel" project, including references to URL, installation and performance elements. There's a sketch of compositional considerations for the CUseeMe video hookup. The measurements were used in sorting out the x-y coordinates (lo-tech HTML process) of popup windows in the opening sequence of the URL.

Bio
Combining .net technologies with traditional tools of multi-media production, Jeff Gompertz creates web specific installations and installation specific websites. Since the founding of Fakeshop in 1997, his art production efforts have focused on incorporating these elements in the group's projects. Built around contemporary themes, these projects involve architecture, digital video/imaging, net broadcasting, audio and performance. With Fakeshop he has instigated and/or participated in numerous experimental Internet broadcasts and real time collaborations in the electronic community, including work with: Radioqualia (Australia); Public Netbase (Austria); Kunstradio (Berlin); NetAffects (Amsterdam); Turbulence (New York); WKCR Radio (New York); Xchange network (International); Hell/No-such (International); Candy Factory (Japan).
