Statement
This is a postcard I received from Dooley LaCapellaine just after I first conceived of "Empire 24/7," an installation displaying "real time" images of the Empire State Building. Instructions for viewing: "Empire 24/7" is intended as an installation piece (projector or plasma screen) and NOT as a webcam display in a browser window. It will work nonetheless under some conditions if you want to take a peek. You'll need Netscape, since MS Explorer doesn't interpret server push (unless you find the right plug-in). To receive continuous server push updates, you have to set your cache to 0 (look under preferences/advanced).
