Statement
I was on a plane to San Francisco in 1998. I was working on something that wasn't yet called "netomat" when my laptop battery died. On the top left are notes describing the relationship between the "flow engine," which was the original layout or rendering engine, and the networking engine. Since I couldn't program anymore, I started brainstorming names for the markup language and the application. My core idea was to provide and alternative viewer for the resources on the Internet.
